Danielle and Oliver
It has now been just over two years since our Oliver (8 yr old lab/golden) was diagnosed with cancer (osteosarcoma) after we grew concerned with a limp that he developed in his foreleg . We always went to the conventional veterinarian for all of our pets’ care in all of our years in sharing my home and heart with 4-legged family members.
I thought that It was just a sprain/strain and was devastated when he phoned with the diagnosis. When I inquired about treatment, they offered amputation, radiation, and chemotherapy.
My heart collapsed, that is until a friend recommended, I reach out to Dr. Kim Lamb.
Dr. Kim and her team made it easy to set up a transfer of medical records and to make our first appointment. I’d say Oliver was in love with Dr. Kim and her team the moment he walked through their door.
It is now just over two years and Oliver is still doing well with the herbal treatment as well as a change in his diet guided by Dr. Kim.
Although the cancer has grown, it is at an amazingly slow pace and Oliver has had so many more swims, walks, hikes, play dates and other various adventures. He has truly had such a good life.
I’ll be forever grateful for Kim and so very thankful for the friend that suggested that I make the call.
Moving forward, I will always include holistic care for my pets.
Again, Dr. Kim and her team were the perfect fit. I am blessed and so is Oliver.
Alex and Fox
“Our dog Fox suffered a devastating injury and was diagnosed with Type 3 IVDD. He’s a very active dog and in an instant he was unable to stand, walk, or even lift his head or move his legs on his right side. I took him to Dr. Lamb as soon as we got home, four days after his accident. She utilized a combination of acupuncture and Bemer mats in the EE room, where we spent a couple of hours each session. She also sent him home with some great herbal supplements. We’ve gone there a number of times since and he has made tremendous improvements every day, and I give a lot of credit to his treatments at Holisitc Veterinary Care (HVC). His neurologist was hopeful that he would be sitting up on his own by 2-3 weeks and walking in 6-8 weeks, but with the help from HVC he was standing up on his own and walking well with minor assistance by two weeks after his injury. His progress has been truly remarkable and way ahead of the expected timeline. I’m very optimistic he will make a full recovery. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Lamb if you have a dog with an injury like this.
I should add, I also enjoyed the EE room - it’s a simultaneously relaxing and energizing space. Not a bad place to spend a few hours with your pup!”

“We have been going to Dr. Kim for almost 10 years for holistic care for our animals. Being from this area, we have limited access to certain medical care that people in large populated areas do not have. One of those that we knew we wanted and needed was chiropractic care for our sport dogs. We were thrilled when Dr. Kim decided to go to chiropractic school!! We have gone to a chiropractor ourselves for years and knew that playing competitive disc with our dogs was putting added stresses on their bodies. After one adjustment to Kenna (our top disc dog) we could see an immediate transformation in how she was playing. Her enthusiasm, drive, and overall attitude changed. She had more energy and was acting like a young puppy! Kenna placed 48th in the World finals pro freestyle this year in Georgia. She was adjusted just before we headed down which we could see the benefits in her performance. One of our other dogs, Cane, came in 53rd in toss and fetch and 7th in division 2 freestyle. He too was adjusted just before traveling and the benefits of the adjustment showed in his performance also. We are so pleased with the results on all of our dogs that Dr. Kim has adjusted. They all have benefited from her chiropractic work.”
Kathy and India
“I found India at the pound in 2000 with no tail and a weepy eye. She was about 2 at the time and the local vet said she had “pound eye” and there was nothing to do about it. By age 12, she had dandruff and asthma. Frustrated with conventional and homeopathic drugs working only briefly, I found Dr. Kim. That was 2009 and I haven’t looked back.
Healing what is not functioning drives Dr. Kim. Our initial visits included long chats about the role/efficacy of homeopathics, conventional vet medicine, pet food, physiology, and biology. Seven years later, topics now include kidney and adrenal function, cortisol levels, minerals, probiotics, and, my personal favorites….the latest article, book, or podcast she read or heard on animal health. On the latter, she doesn’t stop there, either. She calls, emails, and writes to the authors, labs, and researchers to find out more about the topic she just read.
It is equal parts exciting and relief to have access to this much up to-date knowledge and experience in multiple vet disciplines in one person. Dr. Kim is also willing to switch approaches if the current one isn’t working to her satisfaction. This insatiable drive to learn and experiment combined with humility and curiosity has actually cured India of her weepy eye, dandruff, food allergies, and her asthma. To top it off, India’s kidney levels are back to normal; something my conventional vet said was not possible but is now curious as to how all of the above was accomplished. All in all, India is back to her bright and saucy self at 18.
Healing takes time but it is worth the journey to work with Dr. Kim as she unwraps, unveils, and discovers how to truly heal your pet.”
